On December 15, 2012, the 2nd Postgraduate Academic Forum of the School of Pharmacy, hosted by the School of Pharmacy of Soochow University, was held in the lecture hall of the Binglin Library of Dushu Lake Campus. Professor Jiang Hualiang, deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Kong Lingyi, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Pharmacy, Chinese Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mr. Liu Yaowu, Assistant General Manager of Suzhou Zhonglian Chemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Cao Jianping, Deputy Director of the Medical Department of Suzhou University, Xia Chaoming, Graduate School of Medicine The director, the party and government leaders of the School of Pharmacy, all the teachers of the School of Pharmacy, and nearly 200 graduate students attended the forum.


The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Professor Xue Xuechu, Dean of the School of Pharmacy. At 5 pm, the “Zhonglian Pharmaceutical” scholarship awarding ceremony was held. The ceremony was hosted by Prof. Qin Zhenghong, the vice president of the School of Pharmacy and the doctoral tutor. The conference announced the forum's academic report and the wall newspaper's award list. The graduate student Sun Wei won the first prize of the "Zhonglian Pharmaceutical" scholarship academic report. Zhang Fauli and other two graduate students won the second prize. Four graduate students such as Bei Yongyan won the third prize. Eight graduate students, including Wang Meiyu, won the academic report award. In addition, in the academic wall appraisal ratio, Wang Wenjuan and other five graduate students won the “Zhonglian Pharmaceutical” Scholarship Academic Wall Newspaper Excellence Award, and Zhu Qiaoling and other 13 graduate student awards.
